Our mission

The mission of Bivona Child Advocacy Center is to coordinate and provide services and support to meet the needs of child victims of sexual or physical abuse and their families at a single and safe, child-friendly facility. The Center is committed to reducing trauma, promoting accountability, fostering healing, and advocating on behalf of child victims of sexual and physical abuse.

That every child has access to the services of a children’s advocacy center.

Bivona Summit on Child Abuse

In April 2009, we hosted our First Annual Bivona Summit on Child Abuse, featuring nationally noted child abuse expert Victor Vieth as our keynote speaker and a host of workshops and panel discussions. Contact us if you’d like to be included on next year’s invitation list.

Charles Pfeffer

Chairperson

Charles Pfeffer is the founder and President of Contextus LLC, a professional services firm that helps senior executives clarify strategy, align their teams and turnaround execution challenges.

Charles has over 20 years of experience as a coach to top executives. He is an expert process consultant who has led change efforts at major corporations, including Eastman Kodak, Xerox, Dupont, ExxonMobil, Frontier, Lockheed Martin, USA Datanet and others.

Charles has been a visiting lecturer on organizational issues at Syracuse and Cornell Universities and has been a frequent speaker at conferences and before industry groups.

Charles and his wife, Christine live in Fairport, New York with two of their four children still at home.
