New LOSATS staff member, Kimberly Cline, PsyD has joined the BCAC team and will now be onsite at the BCAC three days a week providing therapy to both the children and families who utilize services at the BCAC and to those families who are referred from other community agencies/clinics.
The objective at BCAC is to provide comprehensive services to physically and sexually abused children at a single and safe, child-friendly facility. The BCAC evaluates over 1,000 children annually. With the addition of its second staff member, LOSATS now has a representative available at the BCAC four days a week to assist children and families as soon as abuse is disclosed or discovered. LOSATS also provides treatment for those suffering from the longer term effects of sexual abuse. The support of the staff at LOSATS who work out of the BCAC facility will help guarantee the integrity of the children and families who receive services there, and assist in ensuring safety and direct healing to all who have been affected by sexual abuse.
LOSATS became a BCAC partner agency in 2007 and is a private agency specializing in treatment, training and consultation for victims, offenders and families affected by sexual abuse.
