Historically, the wine tasting event has served as one of the key fundraising efforts for the Bivona Child Advocacy Center. The goal for this year’s event is to raise over $12,000.
“Our Wine Tasting is a great opportunity for guests to enjoy a variety of local and national wines, while doing something to help children in our community,” says Bivona Executive Director, Mary E. Whittier. “It’s always an enjoyable evening and also serves as a critical source of funding for our organization, which gives child abuse victims a safe, comfortable and caring environment to begin the healing process as quickly as possible.”
The Bivona Child Advocacy Center utilizes a unique approach to helping abused children and their families. A child and his/her family can come to Bivona and receive all of the necessary investigative, evaluation and treatment services at one child friendly state-of-the-art facility.
